Companies Do Back up, Still Missing Recovery Strategy

Novosoft, the developer of Handy Backup utility, the popular data backup solution, and an international provider of information system services, introduced the release of the report presenting an advanced analysis of big data failure causes among business users.

The usual annual report features a direction: more companies do back up their useful business information and do setup simple software tools like remote server backup solution more often, but still lack unfailing disaster recovery plans.

The major conclusion of the report are the two facts:
  1. enterprises do back up their files and stuff more often;
  2. disaster recovery is still an option poorly organized and set up.

The paper shows that issues like saving data to a FAT partition which silently cuts off those to 2 GB or minding to back up a IIS metabase along with server backup are still out of file protection scope for too many companies.

The report was announced at the same time with recent data backup and disaster recovery features by Handy Backup software, now making it probable to get a low-level saving complete snapshot of the whole workstation data on-the- fly, with no service delay.
